“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child - our own two eyes. All is a miracle.”

Mindfulness Walks and Hikes
Mindfulness walks and hikes are a wonderful way to connect with nature and the sangha community. We meet at one of the parks in the Victoria area and go for walking meditation, enjoying the present moment. You are welcome to bring friends, family and dogs as long as the noble silence is respected.
Walks - mindful walks are at one of the city parks like Queen Anne's Park or Beacon Hill.
Hikes - hikes are at one of the local parks like Theitis Lake or Mount Douglas
We do request that you attend at least one weekly meditation before participating.
