Weekly Meditation

Thursdays at the Quaker Meeting House, 1831 Fern Street.The meditation begins promptly at 7pm, in respect for the other practioners and yourself, please arrive early so you have time to arrange your cushions and settle peacefully.

Please note that there will be no meditation on July 1st or during the month of August. We'll resume the Thursday night sits on September 2nd.

New Practioners

If this is your first time sitting with us, please arrive 10 minutes early so you have time to get settled and we can give you a brief overview of the format for the evening . Sitting begins prompty at 7pm.

Throughout the evening, the bell master will provide instruction on the flow of the evening – he or she will let you know when to stand, when to bow, when to do walking meditation, etc. So please don’t worry about not knowing the process for the evening, we will help you along the path.
